It's a way for people to to express themselves, also in some ways fashion gives people confidence. I know if I went somewhere important in a pair of sweats I would not want to be there, but if I showed up in an outfit that made people 'Aww!' I would be smiling from the roof tops.

What are everyones new years resolution??

Well here are some of mine to keep ur brain thinking if u dont have one yet:

eat healthier
get a job
live a happier life
focus on school more
try not to worry so much on the things that dont matter
give to charity
help out at the hospital
many many many more!!

I love new years , it gives people the chance to start the year off with a BANG!! and let people start fresh and have no worries about what happened in the later years.. 2010 should be a great year .. Yeah maybe our economy isnt so great right now but people dont need money to be happy or have fun. I feel just having my family is very important and the should be the reason i am happy :)

Well I cant wait to start the new year. i have so much i want to do and acheive i have no idea what im gonna do but thats great thing about having goals... so when you acheive your goals you make urself a brighter, happier person it gives urself accomplishment for sticking to your word and not getting mad at urself for not doing what u wanted.

SO EVERYONE ATLEAST ACHEIVE ONE OF UR NEW YEARS RESOLUTIONS!!! not only will it make you feel better it might help others around you

HOLLOWEEN IS COMING!!

IM SO EXCITED FOR HOLLOWEEN!!!
- its october 19, 2009 and it hasnt snowed yet here in Fairbanks, Alaska. ITS A RECORD!! I hope for the first year i can actually wear a costume i want and not have to wear sweat pants under it just to stay WARM!!!.

TORRID COSTUMES!!!.. arent they sooo cute my favorite would have to be the pirate and the red riding hood one. they are super cute. They are a little short for me but i still love them. Therir so cute and sassy looking they are PERFECT FOR TORRID GIRLS!! :P but remember girls wear costumes that are appropriate for your age. One thing that my mom always told me is that dont try to be older than you are, cherish your age because time flies and you might not be a young person anymore. Also one more thing that would be cool to learn so you get the full affect of your character or your costume is your make up really go all out because thats what halloween is for to be someone your not it kind of gives you the freedom to do something out of your comfort zone without people thinking your crazy :) so dont be shy when your picking out ur costume dont worry about what your friends might think about it choose the costume that you want and i gaurantee you that you will probably have the best costume out there :)

Breast Cancer Month

Breast Cancer.Awareness Month

Im blogging today about Breast cancer month. this topic is especially close to me because two of my family members were diagnoesd with breast cancer and happy to say they both lived through it. Breast cancer is a very serious cancer. But on the light side of that statement Torrid is selling Breast cancer awareness shirts and merchandise. MY favorit would be save the Ta Tas haha i cracked up and i love that shirt. I personally am very happy that i have the oppertunity to have my birthday in the same month :) i was very happy about that. You cant be too young to have signs of breast cancer so take routine home check ups and occasionally get checked at the doctor for it also. The sooner the cancer is found the sooner and easier it will be gone. :)

Its the New Sweat Pants :P.
No but Denim is super in right now especially the Skinny Jeans, who would have thought that 80's WOULD BE BACK IN STYLE. i mean what can i say I LOVE THE 80's. i wish i grew up in the 80's. there clothes were so Funky and awesome. Im happy everything is coming back so i get the chance to wear stuff crazy like bright purple leggings and a side ponty tail without people looking at me and saying WOW!! lol. But yes DENIM is IMPORTANT!!.
My fave DENIM from Torrid right now is ALL THE SKINNY JEANs. I love skinny jeans.. thats all bought for back to School Shopping aka BTSS. I bought three Pairs of skinny jeans, three shirts, AND some accessories and i made out like a bandit. IT WAS AWESOME. Also right now torrid has these leggings that Look exactly like jeans but they are leggings they are Awesome ima go buy some when i get my next gift card :). DONT FORGET DENIM BUY SOME DENIM AT TORRID EVERYTHING FITS PERFECT AND ITS COMFORTABLE LUVVVVV IT :)

RECAPing My SUmmER

WHASSUP FELLOW BLOGGERS,

So Im Going to Recap my whole Summer.

Well once my Summer Started I found out that i won The Hi :) School Model Search For Torrid. I was Sooo Excited. Then a couple weeks later i got my First Blog Schedule :) ( SOOO EXCITING) After that i kind of just kept up on my Blogging and Spent a lot of time with my Cousin Shalanda and her son Gaven. This Summer i went to A PUDDLE OF MUDD Concert Here in fairbanks. It was a lot of fun, there were a lot of people, i got squished in the mod pit but the good part was they played two of my fave songs ever (She Hates Me and a song from Greece Summer LOVIN). It was awesome. After the concert me and my friend Gabbie got autographes and met the band members. It was funny Hearing them say "man These Freakin Mosquito's Are INSANE". All i could do is laugh.
Through out the summer i spent the night at Some of my friends House's, I watched movies, ate junk food, and pretty much just sat on my booty. the Classical tale of a teenagers Summer ( THEY SIT ON THER BUTTS) lol.
Then Towards the End of the summer we had our local Tanana State Fair here in fairbanks. It's probably the biggest event that most teenagers, adults, and children look forward to all year long. Teenagers like it cuz well we can hang out with our friends for hours and have all this entertainment. And to mention again it gets us off our BUTTS. At our fair theres a lot of walking (its so we can eat all that junk food thats there). Like elephant ears, funnel cakes, corn dogs, nachos, Gyro's, Cheesecake in a cone, Dippin Dots, and much much much much mOre.
Not to mention i went to the movies A LOT and spent a lot of money over the summer. I love summer because of course there's NO SCHOOL, you can SLEEP IN, and STAY UP LATE. The Top 3 reasons Teens like SUmmers. Everyone was all excited because it was the summer before HIGH SCHOOL for me atleast, and everyone was so caught up on having the best summer of their lives but Dude i sat on my butt all summer and still had the best summer ever. Not to mention i walked around wal-mart and Fred-meyers about 10 times EVERY DAY. lol i got good work outs for Free.

Fave TORRID ACCESSORIES

My first favorite torrid accessorie would be the Torrid Peace Necklace with charms on it that consist of a crown, a flowered peace sign, and two angel wings crossed together.

Other accessories that are really popular in today's style that torrid has a lot of is scarves oh my SCARVES he he scarves are like the IT accessorie right now they go with almost every out fit its crazy.
They have so many colors and patterns that you can get so the scarf can go with anything.

I also really all the different selections Torrid has for bracelets and earrings. I love the little bowls that they put them in It just makes them look really cool.

Another accessorie at torrid that i love is the little Bow hair clips they go with anything and are super cute in any hairstyle you have.

BACK TO SCHOOL SHOPPING

I love back to school shopping... its so exciting.

For me ill go back to school shopping and about a week before school starts ill figure out my whole outfit the shoe's the accessories my shirt pants socks everything and then the night before the first day ill be up all night just thinking of being able to wear those clothes after so long of not wearing them and just having them sit in your closet.

While im back to school shopping i try to make the most interesting and of course incredibly cute outfit as i can. i try to make sure that nobody else can possibly have the exact outfit as i do.

I just love the feeling of having something brand new that nobody has seen on you yet and could possibly make you feel better about yourself. Clothes have an interesting affect on people. In a way clothes can make you feel better about yourself or make you feel worse about yourself. I know that sometimes when you show up at school and you see someone with the same shirt or pants or accessory as you and wearing it the same day you kinda feel awquared cause your like umm i cant beleive they have the same thing as you do. But then at the same time your like well atleast i know im not the only one that likes this object hehe.

But all in all i love clothes and i just love the satisfaction i get when a friend or someone i dont even know come up to me and say "oh i love your shirt where did you get it"? or a friend comes up to you and says you look really pretty today or just a simple complement just makes you feel good about yourself and makes you want to look your best everyday.

REMEMBER : always feel good about yourself and have a good attitude then other people will think wow theres a girl thats really comfortable in her own skin maybe i should be that way too.
I really do think comfidence can be contagious because when im having a bad day and my friends are happy and i see them i feel like i want to be happy so i will be :)

I love Accessories. They are just the object to bring your whole outfit together. I think to think it as the Bow to a present i mean a wrapped present is so cool because you know its new and awesome but once theres a bow on in it....it kinda makes the whole present better.

My favorite accessories are necklaces and earrings and scarves and sunglasses and pretty much everything. My favorite accessorie from torrid the their PEACE necklace. I love to wear it with everything its one of those accessories that you can wear with everything.

Also i love wood accessories their just so natural and go great with natural colored clothes such as beige, black, brown, white, and green colors of the earth.

I also really like the big colorful bracelets the colors of neon yellow, green, and blue. or the Hot pink.

I love big hoop earrings silver or gold i love them because they just pull the whole outfit together. When Someone looks at you the basic items that people notice is

your hair
your clothes
shoes

well earrings kind of have a little extra ooo and aaaahh to your whole wardrobe. Earrings look great with hair either down or up.

Shoes are also very important. my favorite type of shoes right now are high tops. they go great with skinny jeans.

Bracelets go great with tank tops or short sleeve shirts because when your arms are bare and when you wear bracelets or rings it kind of brings everything together and shows off your beautiful hands.

Accessories are good for bringing out the colors that don't stand out in your outfit.

Summer 09' is like the awesomesst!!!!! So many new cute clothes and styles there's so many to choose FROM :)

My fave is deffinitley is jean Shorts and a cute white lace tank top and a Super cool Plaid Shirt OMG i love this outfit!!!! I love Torrids Jean shorts there so comfortable i love them :) There soo cute on :) im in LOVE haha.

there those denim Shorts that you like wanna wear everyday but you cant haha.

My other favortie trend is the more casual sophisticated type:

hello Fellow Blog Followers :),

I am going to Blog today about my experience in winning the Torrid Hi :) School Model Search.
(I'll Start from the very first time i went to torrid) :)

Well i started my obsession hehe with torrid during spring Break this year. See i live in a small town that doesnt have fancy stores we pretty much just have a wal-mart and Fred Meyer's. Oh and a mall thats really a hall haha. But anyways My dad took me to Anchorage (a Big city in alaska that has fancy stores). during spring break so i could go to their water park and have funn and hang out with my friends and stuff and me and my friend Shealynn went to this mall. We never heard of torrid before and when we saw it We just saw Black and Hot pink and we went OMG THAT IS THE COOLEST STORE EVER!! haha. we went in and our eyes were just like OMG there's a store perfectly for US!! it was awesome. We were in Torrid for like 3 hours TOTAl....... I had to look at everything i wanted everything in the store. We looked for like an hour then went to and looked around then went back hah and looked longer. I tried on a shirt and i fell in love and i bought it. When i bought this really super cute shirt i signed up for diva style. You know how torrid sends you e-mails on new clothes and events coming to store's well there was this one that said Torrid Hi:) School Model search i was like OMG i was soo excited So I printed the Application out and filled it out then sent it. When i was filling out the application the question's were easy and fun....A little bit later I was sitting on the couch watching my little sister when the phone rang. So i picked the phone and looked at the caller I.D. It said Hot Topic... then i though why is hot topic calling then i thought again ohhhh torrid and my face was like omg omg omg i didnt know what to think. Then i answered.....This super nice girl named Becky called to tell me Congrats!! you are one of Torrid's Hi :) School Model Search Winner's!!! I wanted to scream but it was just not coming out i was literary SPEECHLESS!!! then i was like Oh MY GOD R U SERIOUS!!!! She said yes.... and she told what my winnings were and what i would have to do and i was like yes yes yes!!!!!. Once i got off the phone my mom just got home and she ran in giving me a huge hug. She started crying and was like i cant believe you won omg i cant believe you won.. haha i asked how did you find out... they called my mom first haha. When i found out i won i just couldnt believe it i kept telling myself how can a girl from a little town in the middle of nowhere win something as huge as this!!!!.

From then on i always looked forward to Miss Becky's e-mails i would get... for updates on what i should do and stuff.
When i did my first blog i was at my aunts house with my cousin and her baby.... i about rewrote it 5 times. haha. After a couple of weeks i got my first $250 Gift card to torrid !! i didnt get to spend it right away but i sure wanted to. I was so excited i took pictures of it hah. When i went to torrid to spend my $250 i wanted to just try on everything i tried on about 6 pairs of jeans and 1 pair of shorts. I didnt want to spend it all at once so i spent about half of it. I came home and wanted to where everything i had boughten in one day haha.

But one thing i want to tell everyone who reads this It doesnt matter what size you are. I personally didnt think i could ever win anything like this in my entire life. I entered because I believed in myself ,that i could do something in my life that would be making me and and not making anyone else happy but for me. I always thought oh someone my size couldnt have a chance of helping other girls just like me more confident in them selves. I always thought i was the only one but when i see beautiful girls struttin their stuff and not caring about stupid stuff that other people might think. it gave me a little boost of confidence that i can help girls just like me. Girls If you think your not good enough or not pretty enough never put yourself down you just setting yourself up for disappointment... So tell yourself you can win. You have a chance.. thats what i did and look i won hehe. I always get upset when my friends that are like me say their fat and their not pretty and they couldnt do something like this i always tell them just stop putting yourself down.......you have just as good as a chance as i do and just go for it!! never think that your never good enough because were all the same we all have things about ourselves that we dont like and we just got to say you know what IM BEAUTIFUL THE WAY I AM. and dont let anything get in your way of trying to live your dream or do what you want to do.

The BIG events happinin in Fairbanks, AK

This summer has been awesome in Fairbanks (my home town).......

The BIG event that happened this summer was the PUDDLE OF MUDD concert that me and my friends went to.!! it was awesome I Dressed to impress ( the rockers haha)

I wore Torrid Peace Splatter paint shirt with the Splatter paint belt it was awesome i got so many compliments it was totallly Peaceness hehe. I was even Lucky enough to have the whole band sign my torrid splatter paint belt :) Puddle of Mudd was huge but there was more adults than kids and there was a lot of people kicked out. Me and my friends had so much fun trying to push our way through the crowd to get close to the stage and we did it we were so proud of ourselves. :P

The next big event was Transformers 2 Man our movie theater was PACKED the whole parking lot was full there was no parking spots left almost everyone was there. We also had Jeff Dunham here. The Movie was awesome i loved it :).

Last but not least one favorite item of mine for the summer is Denim Shorts with a wooden belt i love it its so cute and stylish and you can wear them with anything

These jeans are perfect for fourth of july they go perfectly with red white and blue shirts and accessories.

the tattered look is soo in right now its perfect. Any shirt would go with these jeans plain or graphic anything I love these jeans myself so you should deffinitley try them out...

My Summer Stylin fashion tips.

Hello Fashion Blog followers :),

My favorite part about summer is all the cute clothes you can wear. But the hard part is What should you wear?

I always have a question in my mind that Im sure is the big question to most of the girls across the world when they get up in the morning What should I wear today?? Well it all depends on what your activities for the day is. If your out shopping and having fun with the girlfriends feel free to wear whatever you like as long as its of course FASHIONABLE :P. If your going to the lake or the beach i would wear something i can Look super cute in and be comfortable and not get too hot in. I would wear a pair of shorts or Capri's and a super cute t-shirt. If its a little chilly outside not really the tank top kind of weather where a graphic tee and some super cute dark jeans. When i match jeans and shirts together i always use my #1 rule. my rule is to try not to match a dark tee with dark jeans.. the dark tee and dark jeans is just too much dark if your wearing dark jeans where a white tee it looks SO pretty when you have a bright light color with dark jeans I don't know what it is about it but its so cute. Also with light jeans where a darker top with them. Also be careful about the colors you match burnt orange and pukey green do not go together hehe. Also always wear a good bronzer when your out in the sun just to give your skin a good glow... even if its a light bronzer little is better than a whole bunch :)

I thought that since i will be giving fashion advice maybe you should know just a lil' bit about me :P

So here's some fun facts about me:
I love acting so my whole family calls me a drama queen

everytime I go to a restaurant i get a shirley temple and a grilled chicken sandwich

my favorite colors are purple blue green and pink

i have two cats and one dog

My fashion style is mix of many things its basically whatever i feel like that day. . sometimes i feel like i want to be bright and out there than sometimes i feel rocker then sometimes i feel like dressing preppy i just love everything :P

My bedroom is cotton candy pink
i love music i dont know what i would do without it. I have like 200 songs on my ipod and i listen to almost all of them most of them are 80's songs i love the 80's.
My favorite band is all time low..... my favorite singer's are taylor swift and mariah carey.... my favorite male singer's is Jesse McCartney, jason mraz, prince, micheal jackson.
My favorite american idol contestants are jason castro, kris allen, and adam lambert.

I love tv haha just like a regular teen.......i love disney channel and mtv its a weird mix but heyyy .. haha

my favorite stuff animal as a little kid was my Pooh Bear

I like going camping and fishing.

I love baking and decorating cakes

i love fashion design i have been drawing clothes since i remember

i love singing and dancing

i love movies any new movie that's come out i have probably seen

My little sister the little girl in my photo is the twinkle to my star i dont know what i would do without her she is three years of age and she knows way to much.I have a huge family and they are big supporters of everything i do. I love the warm sun but i live alaska and theres only warm sun for about 4 months out of the year....
